UL752 US Ballistic Standard

Bulletproof glass grades are mainly classified according to industry standards for grade testing. UL752 US Ballistic Standard can be divided into 8 grades, as shown below

The definition of bulletproof glass level is mainly based on the test shown in the following figure for live ammunition testing, and the safety level is judged by studying bullet speed and bulletproof glass test results

Level 1: Refers to bulletproof glass that can resist small-caliber pistols. It must be able to resist at least three 9mm FMJ shots with a minimum speed of 1175f/s

Level 2: Can resist the shooting of larger caliber pistols. It must resist the soft point of 0.357 magnum shot at least three times at 1,250f/s.

Level 3: Refers to the .44 tartar bomb that can withstand at least three rounds at 1350f/s

Level 4: Represents an improvement in ballistic resistance. It can withstand at least one round of a .30 caliber rifle with a minimum speed of 2540f/s.

Level 5: Covered with bulletproof glass, can withstand at least one 7.62mm rifle FMJ, with a speed of at least 2750f/s.

Level 6: It is a direct improvement of Level 1, capable of withstanding at least five 9mm shots and moving at a minimum minimum speed of 1400f/s.

Level 7: Designed to withstand multiple blows from 5.56 rifle FMJ, with a minimum speed of 3080f/s.

Level 8: The highest level of protection available in the bulletproof glass standard. The spirit level has been tested and can withstand at least five shots from a 7.62mm rifle.
