Installation specifications and requirements for bulletproof glass

• Matters needing attention when unpacking bullet-proof glass wooden boxes

Tilt the bottom of the wooden box with glass down to the side of a solid wall, and fix it with a wooden cushion below. The angle of the box should not be less than 80 °. (There is an anti-inversion sign on the wooden box, the arrow indicates the direction is the upper side, and the opposite direction is the bottom side)

Cut the packaging tape, use tools such as a crowbar to pry open the packaging surface (the relatively thick side of the inner foam board), and remove the board. Note: Unpacking tools and hard packaging should not touch the glass to avoid damaging the glass.

From outside to inside, lift vertically and removes the glass.

• Handling of bulletproof glass

Glass products should be handled straight and handled with care to avoid collision and friction. The handling of the large plate glass must avoid the plate surface being perpendicular to the wind direction. Never lift the glass flat!

When the glass sheets are stacked, they should be slightly inclined and firmly. The stressed parts of glass should avoid direct contact with hard objects. The two sheets should be separated by paper pads. After glass is lifted to the designated place, it is slowly and horizontally placed on the wooden board. It is strictly forbidden to touch the glass end first!

When transporting, the glass surface should be perpendicular to the carriage surface, the long side of the glass should be consistent with the direction of movement of the vehicle, and it should be slightly inclined and firm. Avoid shaking.

Product installation training

The bullet-proof and smash-proof glass must be placed vertically, the depth of glass extending into the column is not less than 40mm, and the bottom of the glass and the countertop must be added with 5mm thick rubber pads (hard mats such as marble and gypsum board are strictly prohibited) . The bottom of bullet-proof glass cannot contact table or hard object directly.

The size requirements of the bulletproof and smash-proof glass at the counter: the width should not be greater than 1.8m, the height should not be less than 1.2m, and the area of ​a single block should not be greater than 4㎡.

The bulletproof and smash-proof glass above the top part should be installed with metal barriers sealed to the top. The barriers should be hot-rolled ribbed steel bars with a diameter of not less than 14mm and a spacing of not more than 100mm × 100mm.

The bullet-proof and smash-proof glass should be installed in one piece, and multiple splicing or dislocation installation methods are not allowed.

The impact surface of the bullet-proof and smash-proof glass should face the customer's activity area, the transparent protective plate should be embedded in the frame on at least three sides, the embedding depth should not be less than 40mm, its lower side is flush with the countertop or embedded in the countertop; the frame should be made of not less than 10 channels of steel or ∠63 × 5 angle steel. When using other profiles as the frame, the strength should not be lower than the above profiles.
